For the Commenters

About a week ago my comments were spammed by some asshat. I found it to be quite annoying and it pissed me off a bit. Why would I get mad at that you ask? Because these spamming assholes just don't know their limits. They're cracking down on email spams, telemarketers are trying to find every loophole they can around that "No Call List" and they just don't know when to give up. People hate phone calls at dinner that are about saving money on long distance service or answering a "few questions" that can take an hour if you actually sit there and go through it all. They hate opening their email boxes and seeing a hundred messages about enhancing your dick or shrinking your waist.
I bought a cell phone last Sunday and less than 24 hours after it was activated I had a voicemail from a solicitor. What the fuck is that?!? That was the first fucking call I got with that new number. I don't know how they got it, but I feel the need to call up my provider (I won't say who it is, but it's also a synonym for "run".) and complain about them giving out the numbers of their customers to companies. If I want to talk to someone about health insurance, I'll call them. There's no need for them to contact me.
So on to the meaning behind the title of this post. Because I hate spammers/telemarketers with a passion and will do whatever I can to make their jobs harder in reaching me I've activated a new feature of Blogger. Now, whenever someone wants to leave a comment they must enter some secret text that appears on the screen before the can submit it. Yes, it's a pain in the ass to do it and I wouldn't doubt that if I had more people commenting here it might drive them away. Since that isn't a problem though, I don't think it'll effect my readership all too much.
